Søndergård Conducts Dvořák Symphony No. 7

After Dvořák composed his first set of Slavonic Dances, his publisher was desperate for more. He liked that they were short, popular and lucrative. While Dvořák understood the attraction, he was determined to follow his own North Star with his Symphony No. 7. Principal Bassoon Fei Xie takes on a new concerto by Kevin Puts that was co-commissioned by three orchestras, including your Minnesota Orchestra.
