Rachmaninov’s ‘Paganini’ Variations

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) is delighted to announce that it will be returning to the BBC Proms this August, marking 60 years since its first appearance!

Under the baton of Music Director Thomas Søndergård, the RSNO will perform a programme of Knussen’s Flourish with Fireworks, Shostakovich’s magnificent Symphony No11 and Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with pianist Kirill Gerstein.
